Service Requests
Service Requests allow you to post requests for professional services, enabling consultants on Leadvisor Global to understand your needs and respond with relevant offerings.
What Are Service Requests?
Service Requests are requests you post describing professional services you need. Consultants can browse these opportunities and reach out to discuss how they can help. Use them to find consultants for specific projects, describe complex requirements in detail, and receive responses from qualified providers.
Creating a Service Request
Go to your Client Portal, click the Service Requests tab, and click Create New.
Required Information
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | Clear, descriptive title for your request |
| Description | Detailed explanation of your needs |
| Contact Email | Email where consultants can reach you |
Optional Information
Enhance your request with countries, service categories, industries, and solutions relevant to your needs. After saving as draft, you can add file attachments such as RFPs and specifications.
Writing an Effective Description
Include background context about your organization, specific services or deliverables needed, timeline requirements, project size and complexity, and any specific expertise required.
The more detail you provide, the better consultants can assess whether they are a good fit for your needs.
Request Status
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved but not yet submitted for review |
| Pending | Submitted and awaiting platform review |
| Published | Live and visible to consultants |
| Unpublished | Removed from public view |
Managing Your Requests
Published requests may have limited editing options. Contact support through Conversations if you need to make significant changes.
Receiving Responses
When consultants are interested, they contact you through Conversations. Check your contact email for inquiries, review consultant profiles, and discuss requirements and next steps.
When evaluating responses, consider relevant experience, understanding of your requirements, proposed approach, pricing and terms, and communication quality.
Best Practices
Use descriptive titles that indicate the type of service, industry, and geographic scope. For example: "Tax Advisory for APAC Market Expansion" rather than "Need Help".
Provide enough detail for consultants to understand scope and assess fit. State timeline requirements clearly and be realistic about turnaround times. Once published, check messages regularly and respond promptly to inquiries.
