Conversations
The Conversations feature allows you to communicate directly with consultants on Leadvisor Global. This guide explains how to start conversations, use messaging features, and manage your communications.
Accessing Conversations
Navigate to Conversations from the main navigation by clicking Conversations or the message icon. View your message inbox, start new conversations, or continue existing ones.
Starting a Conversation
You can start conversations in several ways:
Sending Messages
Type your message in the input field at the bottom of the conversation, then press Enter or click Send. Messages support text content, line breaks (Shift + Enter for new line), and links which are automatically detected.
File Attachments
Share files by clicking the attachment icon and selecting a file from your device. Supported attachments include documents (PDF, Word, Excel), images, and other common file types.
Custom Pricing
Consultants can offer custom pricing for their services through the messaging system. When a consultant assigns a custom price, this becomes the effective price for the service. The custom price is reflected on the service detail page and at checkout when you click Purchase Service.
For more information on purchasing, see Making Purchases.
Managing Conversations
Your conversation list shows all active conversations with unread message indicators, most recent message preview, and participant information. Use search to find specific conversations or messages. You can also archive individual messages for reference.
Notification Settings
Control how you receive conversation notifications. Click the notification settings in the conversation sidebar:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Every 4 hours | Receive email digest every 4 hours |
| Every 12 hours | Receive email digest every 12 hours |
| Every 24 hours | Receive daily email digest |
| Off | No email notifications |
You can also mute individual conversations to temporarily silence notifications for that specific conversation.
Maintain clear communication by being specific about your needs, providing context for inquiries, and responding promptly to messages.
