Managing Services

Services are professional offerings you provide to clients through Leadvisor Global. This guide explains how to create service listings, what information to include, and how to manage your services throughout their lifecycle.

Understanding Services

A service listing describes a professional offering with defined scope and pricing. Clients browse available services, review the details, and can purchase directly through the platform. You can also offer custom pricing to specific clients through the messaging system when their needs differ from your standard offering.

Services you publish appear on your consultant profile and in the marketplace where clients search for professional assistance.

Accessing Service Management

Go to your Consultant Portal and click the Services tab. This displays all your services organized by status. You can see which services are drafts, pending review, published, or unpublished.

Creating a New Service

1
Click Create New or the + button in the Services tab
2
Complete the required fields in the form that appears
3
Add optional details to provide more context for clients
4
Click Save as Draft to save your progress, or submit when ready

Required Information

Every service requires the following information.

FieldDescriptionLimit
TitleClear, descriptive name for your service200 characters
DescriptionDetailed explanation of what the service includes8,000 characters
PriceCost of the service in USDUp to $999,999
Delivery ModeHow the service is deliveredVirtual, In-Person, or Hybrid

The title should clearly communicate what the service offers. Good examples include specific titles like "Corporate Tax Advisory for Cross-Border Transactions" or "Employment Contract Review and Drafting" rather than generic titles like "Tax Services" or "Legal Help".

The description is your opportunity to explain the service in detail. Describe what the service includes, what deliverables the client receives, the typical process, and what makes your approach valuable. Clients rely on this description to determine whether the service meets their needs.

Delivery Mode

Select how you deliver the service.

ModeDescription
VirtualService delivered remotely through video calls, email, or digital means
In-PersonService delivered face-to-face at client location or your office
HybridCombination of virtual and in-person delivery

Optional Fields

You can enhance your service listing with additional information.

Duration describes the expected timeframe for completing the service. This helps clients understand the engagement timeline.

Engagement Terms specify how the engagement works, including communication expectations, response times, revision policies, and project milestones.

Legal Disclaimers include important legal information such as scope limitations, liability disclaimers, confidentiality terms, or jurisdictional statements.

Included Services let you list specific deliverables that are part of the service. Add items like "Initial consultation call", "Written analysis report", or "Implementation guidance" to make clear what clients receive.

Tags and Metadata

Categorize your service to help clients find it.

Accurate tagging improves your service's visibility in search results and helps clients with specific needs find your offering.

Publishing Your Service

After completing the form, click Save as Draft to save your work. When you are ready to publish, open the draft service and click Submit for Review. The platform team reviews your submission to ensure it meets quality standards.

StatusDescription
DraftSaved but not submitted, visible only to you
PendingSubmitted for platform review
PublishedApproved and visible to clients in the marketplace
UnpublishedRemoved from public view but retained in your account

Once approved, your service is published and visible to clients. They can view the details, contact you with questions, and purchase the service.

Review your service details carefully before submitting. Accurate, complete information helps the review process and gives clients confidence in your offering.

Managing Published Services

You can edit published services to update descriptions, pricing, or other details. Navigate to the service in your Services tab and click to edit. Some significant changes may require re-review before the updates go live.

To temporarily remove a service from public view, click Unpublish. The service remains in your account and can be republished when you are ready to offer it again.

Service Attachments

After saving a service as a draft, you can add file attachments to provide additional information to clients. Attachments might include service brochures, sample deliverables, or terms and conditions documents.

1
Open the draft service from your Services tab
2
Navigate to the Attachments section
3
Click Add Attachment and upload a file
4
Provide a descriptive title for the attachment

Maximum file size is 100MB per attachment. Common formats include PDF documents, Word files, and Excel spreadsheets.

Custom Pricing

When a client has specific needs that differ from your standard offering, you can provide custom pricing through the Conversations feature. After discussing requirements with a client, create a custom price offer in the conversation. When the client accepts, they can purchase at the custom price.

The custom price becomes the effective price for that client. It appears on the service page when they view it and is the amount charged at checkout.

For more information on creating custom price offers, see Conversations.

Service Statistics

Track your service performance from the Services tab and Dashboard. View the count of your published services, the number of orders received, and the revenue generated. These metrics help you understand which services resonate with clients and inform decisions about your offerings.

Writing Effective Descriptions

A well-written description significantly impacts whether clients choose your service. Structure your description to answer the questions clients are likely to have.

Start with a clear overview of what the service provides. Explain who the service is designed for and what problems it solves. Describe the typical process or methodology you use. List the deliverables the client receives. Mention your relevant expertise and experience. Close with any important considerations or next steps.

Write in clear, professional language. Avoid jargon that clients may not understand. Be specific about what is included to set appropriate expectations.
