EU Authorized Representative (AR)
Okolomono LdaWe act as your official Authorized Representative in the European Union and ensure your products comply with EU regulatory requirements. If your company is based outside the EU, appointing an Authorized Representative is mandatory for many product categories to access the EU market under Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 and the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR). As part of this service, we: • provide a legal EU address to be indicated on products and documentation; • act as the official contact point for market surveillance authorities (e.g. ASAE); • retain and provide technical documentation upon request; • support inspections and communication with regulators; • inform you about applicable requirements and regulatory updates. This allows you to legally sell products in the EU while minimizing the risks of fines, product delisting, or recalls.
• A formal mandate agreement is signed to represent your company in the EU. • You provide product information and required technical documentation. • We are appointed as your AR and provide details for labeling and declarations. • Ongoing support is provided throughout the contract period. • Service activation time: 3–10 business days.
• Appointment of an Authorized Representative does not release the manufacturer from full responsibility for product compliance. • The service is provided strictly within the scope of the signed mandate. • We are not liable for inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client. • Additional services (certification, testing, documentation preparation) are charged separately.
